Computer Science Related Clubs

Full-year clubs

CS club
Students explore topics related to computer science and programming, such as Python development and creating mobile apps. Also serves as preparation for students interested in competing in regional and national computer science competitions, including the American Computer Science League (ACSL).

3d – VR club
Focused on 3d graphics and VR. Students learn the skills of 3d design and the integration of old 3d ideologies with the new Oculus Rift platform.

Provide high-level computer assistance and training to students and faculty as well as further the knowledge of members through peer trainings, active projects and forum discussions.

Robotics club 
Aims to further interest in and knowledge of robotics, both hardware and software, by designing functioning mobile robots and by participating in local and/or national competitions.

FIRST Robotics Club
The FIRST Robotics Competition is an annual international engineering challenge for high schoolers. The FIRST Robotics team designs, programs, and builds an advanced robot using industry grade materials and procedures

VEX robotics 
The club aims to design, build, and compete with robots for the VEX robotics competition.

Coding Circle 
A program at the Lawrence Boys & Girls Club that introduces computer science to elementary school students.
