In CSC600 Computer Science Research and Development, students work independently to tackle term-long research problems or programming projects.  At the end of the term, the students organized an “Unposter Session”, an evening of hot cocoa, cookies, and computer science projects.  Students brought interactive programs, games, models, and yes, even posters to help audience members understand their projects.  The event not only serves as a capstone experience for the course, but additionally helps students earlier in their computer science learning process to understand the variety of ways they can affect change with the computational tools available to them.
